Clearwater River Watershed District’s cooperative clean water work pays off

Two Central Minnesota lakes’ removal from the impaired waters list reflects the cumulative effects of rural conservation, Clean Water Fund-backed stormwater treatment in Kimball, Watkins

Clearwater River Watershed District Board President Bob Schiefelbein said board members’ good working relationships with landowners and with local, state and federal partners make it easier to accomplish projects that benefit water quality of the Clearwater River and lakes within the watershed.
